Recent Research on Type 2 Diabetes Remission
Published: 06/08/24

Recent research published in The Lancet Diabetes and Endocrinology (1)   confirms the successful use of Total Diet Replacement (TDR) in Type 2 Diabetes for NHS patients. Substantial weight loss from a 12 week programme of nutrient complete shakes and soups may lead to remission of Type 2 Diabetes. The findings confirm that use in the community of TDR is an effective option. TDR foods have been used since the 1970s.
